The 1 and 5 peso were issued first, and were widely used with the public. Building on this popularity, the bank issued the 2, 10, 50, 100 and 500 pesos subsequently. As these were issued, the public confidence decreased greatly as they were not convinced the bank had enough gold to back up the notes. Therefore very few were issued, the handful of examples are in museums. This lot includes one scarce issued 10 pesos, with other remainders and proofs. 2 pesos in PMG holder 50 About Uncirculated, 1 and 5 pesos with punch hole, remaining about uncirculated to uncirculated.
