Stabbed-and-sewn as issued; cloth folding case. FIRST EDITION of this pamphlet containing official letter and statements of concern between Confederate and British officials. The revocation of exequaturs concerned former British subjects seeking aid from the British to release them from Southern military conscription. They had no authorization for this. Operating under the assumption that England was a neutral country, President Davis had little choice but to expel them. Parrish and Willingham, 1783.
