Engraved frontispiece, 2 engraved titles (some spotting throughout). Contemporary red straight-grained morocco, covers with broad gilt border of a drawer-handle roll, spines in 6 compartments with 5 raised bands, gilt-lettered and numbered in 4 compartments, an ornamental gilt panel at head and foot, edges gilt concealing fore-edge paintings of COOKHAM CHURCH, BERKS and HENLEY, OXON. (upper hinge just split in each volume, some light staining and rubbing). Provenance: Cathcart of Carbiston (bookplate); Estelle Doheny (bookplate; her sale Christie's New York, 21 February 1989, lot 1911). Weber I, p.150. (2)
