Sternhold, John Hopkins and others. ] Cambridge: Thomas Buck and Roger Daniel, 1638. 3 works in one volume, 2° (371 x 235mm). Double column, rubricated throughout. Engraved title to Bible, by William Marshall other titles with woodcut printer's device and border, woodcut initials, musical staves and head and tailpieces. (Book of Common Prayer lacking final blank, Bible with tears to M6 and P6 and small burnhole in O6, affecting some letters.) Late 17th- or early 18th-century red morocco, panelled in gilt with floral cornerpieces and ornaments, spine gilt in seven compartments, lettered in one (base of spine damaged, back cover lightly scuffed, later endpapers). Provenance : Sir Charles Wolseley Bart. (armorial bookplate). Herbert 520.
