(zz5 torn and repaired.) 18th-century red morocco gilt (darkening to spines, wear to spine ends of first volume). Provenance : J.L. Carbon (bookplate, dated 1742); Mary Parker Converse (signature on preliminary blank); Episcopal Divinity School (bookplate). Second Estienne edition of the Greek New Testament, known as the second "O mirificam" edition, after the opening words of Robert's preface to Frangois I praising him for commissioning the second Greek font.
