Provenance : Henry Dixon 1807 (presented to him by Henry H. White) - Paul H. Beves (bookplate). Third Estienne edition, known as the 'Editio Regia', probably the first issue with the headpiece on H7 r with a cherubic head. Not only distinguished for its critical apparatus, Renouard also says of it 'ce volume, dû à la diligence et sagacité personnelles de Robert, suffiroit seul pour assurer sa réputation comme savant littérateur et typographe distingué'.
