One of 1,000 copies (this copy not numbered.) This edition is based upon the Insel-Verlag edition. The text pages were produced by lithography and the illuminated pages by sheet-fed gravure. Included with this lot is a facsimile leaf of the first page of Genesis taken from the Library of Congress copy of the Gutenberg Bible (housed in original orange printed paper folder.)
