(Thick small 4to) 19.5x15 cm (7¾x5¾"), old mottled calf, rebacked with original backstrip retained. Revised and enlarged edition of the earliest bio-bibliography of Flemish authors. Sometimes catalogued under 'Foppens', this exhaustive work was revised continually by André - at his death he left two folio volumes of additions and corrections, according to Brunet.
