Dédié a la Reine pour l'usage de sa Maison ... Paris: chez Jean-Baptiste Garnier Imprimeur-Libraire ordinaire du roy, 1752. Full pale brown morocco gilt, most likely by Dubuisson though without ticket (and this plaque not noted by Rahir), with the central arms of Marie Leszczynska, Queen of France, a fanfare design on the covers likely from a plaque modelled on the work of Padeloup, the spine with strapwork surrounding fleurs-de-lys, all edges gilt, endpapers a charming gilt paper of the period. 7 7/8 x 5 inches (20 x 12.5 cm); xlviii, 812 pp. Overall in a superb state of preservation. The household binding, of considerable magnificence, of Queen Marie of France, the wife of King Louis XV of France and grandmother to Louis XVI, Louis XVIII, and Charles X. Olivier 2507. C
