BINDING-SILVER] Missale romanum ex decreto sacrosancti Concilii Tridentini restitutum, B. Pii V. pontificis max. iussu editum, Clementis VIII. et Urbani VIII. auctoritate recognitum ... Venice: Cieras, 1664. [BOUND WITH] Missae Propriae Festorum ordinis minorum... Venice: Paul Balleon, 1692. Full red velvet, covers with four Baroque pierced silver cornerpieces of winged putti surrounded by acanthus, central medallions of Christ within an ornate pierced design, likely the original binding. 14 1/2 x 10 1/4 cm (36.5 x 26 cm); [16] ff., 467, [1], lxxiii pp.; 40 [2], 4 pp. Velvet worn, spine cracked, front board holding on old repair, some damage to the silver cornerpieces, margin of two leaves restored.
