I, piece torn from upper margin of X1 in the same vol., blank corner section of one plate in vol. III torn away, light creasemarks, particularly in vols. II and III, some marginal spotting), contemporary red straight-grained morocco, embossed panel on sides with gilt border and fleuron at center, spine compartments lettered in gilt and decorated with Greek lyre motif (spines a little rubbed at head and tail), g.e. With 24 other volumes of biographical interest. The lot sold not subject to return. (28)
