The 14 new maps of Italy have Latin titles and French text, and comprise 7 maps previously published in the Appendix (cf. Bl 3 10-15), the 7 other maps being Sicilia Regnum, Regno di Napoli, Stato della Chiesa, Dominio Veneto, Corsica, Sardinia, and Karstia (the last three maps were first published by Blaeu in the German edition of the Novus Atlas, volume I, 1634).
