Contemporary speckled calf, flat spine, gilt green calf label, covers bordered in gilt (upper cover detached, spine rubbed). FIRST EDITION of the Official Account of the Bounty expedition with Bligh's text revised from his journal under the supervision of Sir Joseph Banks, seen through the press by James Burney Hill, p. 27.
