Contemporary calf, fully gilt flat spine, green calf label, (joints split, spine rubbed, chipped at head and foot), modern tan cloth slipcase. Provenance : William Lloyd, Aston, 1806 (armorial bookplate). ONE OF VERY FEW COPIES OF THE FIRST EDITION SPECIALLY PRINTED and issued to include the "Narrative of the Mutiny" with the 1790 title-page, complete and with separate pagination. The Voyage is broken at p. 153 (p. 154 blank); chapters 13-18 are replaced with the 1790 Narrative, with the 2 folding maps printed on blue paper, and the Voyage continued at p. 246 (p. 245 blank) with chapter 19.
