Böttger White Porcelain Teapot and Cover Circa 1715 In the manner of blanc-de-chine, the barrel form with high loop handle, the curved spout issuing from the gaping jaws of a scaly serpent, the domed cover with a pierced ball finial, applied front and back and to the cover with flowering chrysanthemum sprays, the spout interior set with a pierced metal strainer.
