Busca (c.1540-1605) collaborated in the construction of the forts of Montmèlian, Bourg-en-Bresse (1571), Exilles (here "Ichoe"), S. Maria di Susa, S. Francesco di Gravere and of the Consolata of Demonte; also directed from 1603 the construction of the fort of Fuentes to defend the northern border of the Spanish domains against the Protestant Grisons allocated in Valtellina.
