The album 6 1/8 x 4½ in., bound in light brown morocco, covers shaped in a gothic pattern, engraved brass clasps and catches, all edges gilt, leather turn-ins richly gilt, containing 16 gilt-bordered cut-out frames for the insertion of cartes-de visite (three now empty) . The Stanton carte with M.B. Brady backstamp. Loosely inserted is a Meserve copy of another Booth image.
