Boris Krilov (b. Moscow 1891, d. Copenhagen 1977) A pottery figure in colours, depicting two Russians playing and singing. Signed B. Krilov. H. 14 cm. L. 18 cm. Provenance: The married couple Nadia Lindemann, née Borodina (b. Vladivostok 1898, d. Frederiksberg 1982) and Georg Emanuel Lindemann (b. Copenhagen 1896, d. Frederiksberg 1991). He worked as a telegraph operator for The Great Northern Telegraph Company and met his wife in the area around Vladivostok, where they married and settled. In the late 1930s, they moved to Denmark, where they purchased this figure. Thence by descents to their granddaughter with residence in Denmark until today. This lot is subject to Artist's Royalty .
