British Cavalry & Yeomanry Buttons. Three carded displays mainly post 1902 issues but including a few QVC period items, which are large gilts 5th Royal Irish Lancers, Royal Horse Guards Regiment (no gilt remains), 1st KDG (2 both mounted), 1st Royal Dragoons (mounted), Middlesex Yeomanry Cavalry, officer's large silver plate Warwickshire Yeomanry and Royal Wiltshire Yeomanry, other ranks large brass Queen's Own Royal Staffordshire Yeomanry. The scarcer officers' large gilt tunics include 24th Lancers, 25th Dragoons (requires cleaning), 26th Hussars and 27th Lancers, 2nd Dragoon Guards (mounted), 1st Royal Dragoons (mounted), 6th Dragoons (2 with silver castle mounts), Royal Scots Greys (2), 5th Royal Irish Lancers, 7th Dragoon Guards, Army Veterinary Service (GVR), King's Own Royal Regiment of Norfolk Yeomanry (GVIR), Lanarkshire Yeomanry, 5th Dragoon Guards, 3rd Dragoon Guards. Officers' large silver plate examples include West Kent Yeomanry, Berkshire Yeomanry, Royal Wiltshire Yeomanry, Northumberland Hussars (5). Other large tunic issues include Essex Imperial Yeomanry, Essex Yeomanry, Queen's Own Dorset Yeomanry, Kent Cyclists, Yorkshire Dragoons (QVC o/r brass), Lothians & Border Horse Yeomanry, Yorkshire Hussars, Derbyshire Yeomanry, Earl of Chester's Yeomanry, Royal 1st Devon Imperial Yeomanry, Glasgow Imperial Yeomanry, North Somerset Imperial Yeomanry, Scottish Horse, Royal Devon Yeomanry Artillery (with silver mount), Sherwood Rangers Yeomanry. Scarce Mess Waiters' large and small gilts to the 18th Hussars together with many other interesting items both large and small. Accompanied by a letter dated 1962 and a postcard dated 1985 with an attached 5th Irish Lancers button, both from James Ramsden MP, a Conservative Minister, amongst other posts he was the last Secretary of State for War 1962/3, good overall condition (159 buttons) £300-400
