Standard, post-1777 flat "India Pattern" Tower marked flint pistol lock with Board of Ordnance acceptance mark. Stock with a raised carved apron around the breech plug tang, British military inspection marks and an 1805 dated storekeepers mark the wrist. Wooden ramrod is an incorrect replacement, missing belt hook. Condition: Good. Barrel with a lightly cleaned, mottled gray patina showing scattered surface oxidation and light pitting. Brass with a mellow, uncleaned patina. Mechanically functional, lightly pitted bore. Stock solid, with scattered bumps and dings.
