12 1/8 in., .58 caliber round barrel with ring decoration at the breech, the left side marked with ordnance proof marks, the right side marked with crown over "12" inspector's mark, rear of breech plug tang marked with a crown; flat double-bridle lock with double line border engraving, the pointed tail engraved "TOWER" and crown over "GR" and crowned broad arrow mark below the pan, the inside of the lock plate marked with crown over "3" inspector's mark, bottom edge of lock plate has assembly number "XIIII"; walnut stock with carved plateau around the breech plug tang, crown broad arrow over "1805" storekeeper's mark weakly struck behind the lock, crown over "2" inspector's marks adjacent to the trigger guard, the side plate area marked crown over "P" and with other indistinct marks, inside the side plate mortice marked "FONION" and twice with the letter "P"; the rammer channel marked in front of the upper rammer pipe with a crown over "13," a crown over "2," and a crown over "0," and behind the rammer pipe, "T" and with assembly number "XIIII"; brass furniture including a butt cap with short ears, trigger guard with acorn finial, flat side plate with scrolling tail marked on the inside surface with assembly number "X" and with cast broad arrow, tapering cast brass rammer pipe; steel belt hook marked with crown over "6" inspector's mark on the tail and assembly number "XIIII" on the inside surface; original wood rammer with brass tip.
