"Brown, an officer in the 79th Cameron Highlanders, enjoyed considerable sport while stationed in India, and this is by far his best book. He recounts pig sticking adventures near Nagpore, elephant and tiger shooting in the Dehra Doon, stalking sambur and blackbuck in the Sewalik Hills, and bear hunting in the Berar.
