London: for the proprietor, 1827. 3 parts in one volume (dated 1822, 1826 & 1827), 4° (302 x 234mm). 25 engraved and etched plates, 8 hand-coloured, the remainder on india paper (occasional light spotting in the margins). Contemporary green morocco, gilt and blindstamped rule border round sides, gilt turn-ins, gilt edges (a little rubbed). Provenance : Lord Maidstone, the recipient of the Eton Prize for Studies from Nature, July 1830 (inscription on fron paste-down endpaper). First collected edition.
