C.1976 MV 750 side-car course Vendu sans titre de circulation - Fabrication d'époque, de grande qualité - Historique intéressant - Superbe restauration - Probablement l'unique side-car de course à moteur MV Ce side-car de compétition a été fabriqué pour les saisons 1977 et 1978 très probablement, par Guy Bongiovanni. Très impliqué dans le monde du side-car cross et de vitesse, pilote pendant de longues années dans cette discipline et connu pour ses talents de metteur au point, celui-ci était à l'époque importateur et concessionnaire MV dans la région Lyonnaise. Il est encore aujourd'hui président du Motorcycle Club de Lyon et du Rhône. C'est lui qui a fabriqué avec beaucoup de soin et de rigueur le châssis spécial de ce basset et l'a équipé d'une fourche Earles, d'un moteur MV quatre-cylindres 750 et d'un réservoir de carburant très plat en aluminium, à l'arrière et d'une carrosserie très profilée. Il l'a ensuite engagé en Championnat de France Side 750, parmi les Suzuki, Guzzi et BMW. Le moteur est un 750 préparé et adapté à la transmission par chaine. Notre collectionneur convoitait cette machine depuis longtemps et a pu l'acquérir en 1996 auprès d'un collectionneur français. Il a alors envoyé ce side-car MV en Italie chez Peppino Minervi, spécialiste des MV 750, qui a remis en état la mécanique, puis aux ateliers De Marchi, pour la peinture et le remontage. Le propriétaire reconnaît que la restauration s'est révélée coûteuse, mais le résultat est superbe. Il a été très admiré aux Coupes Moto Légende, exposé à côté les MV de course de l'équipe d'Ubaldo Elli. Machine originale, très bien conçue et fabriquée artisanalement à l'époque par une personnalité du monde du side-car, elle est une occasion extrêmement rare d'acquérir un side-car à moteur MV. Photos: Copyright Motolegend Unregistered - High quality period production - A very interesting history - Superb restoration - Probably the only sidecar racer with an MV engine This sidecar racer was made for the seasons 1977 and 1978, and probably by Guy Bongiovanni. Very involved in the world of sidecar cross and racing, and a rider for many years in this field and known for his talents as a director too, Bongiovanni was the importer and dealer in the Lyon region for MV in his time. He is still the president of the Motorcycle Club of Lyon and the Rhône region. He is the one who made with great care and rigour a special frame, fitted it with an Earles fork, a MV four-cylinder 750 engine and a very flat aluminium fuel tank, and at the rear a highly contoured body. He then campaigned in the Championnat de France 750 Sidecars among the Suzukis, BMWs and Guzzis of the period. The 750 was prepared and adapted to mate to a specific transmission system. Our collector has long coveted this machine and was able to acquire in 1996 from a French collector. He then sent the MV sidecar to Italy, to Peppino Minervi , the MV 750 specilaist, who restored the mechanicals and to the workshops of De Marchi , for painting and reassembly. The owner recognizes that the restoration was costly, but the result is superb. This combo was greatly admired in the Coupes de Moto Legende, as this machine was on exhibit at MV side of the Ubaldo Elli race team. An original machine, very well designed and handcrafted at that time by a personality from the world of sidecars, it's an extremely rare opportunity to acquire a sidecar with an MV engine.
