Beschreibung:

Winchester produced the very first commemorative in 1964 for the Wyoming Diamond Jubilee, of which a mere 1,500 were made. No commemoratives were made in 1965. In 1966, they did a huge marketing campaign for the Centennial Model, which was a plated Model 1894 to make it look like a Model 66, they made 102,309 of each rifle and short rifle. What few people realize is that that same year they made a mere 2,500 Nebraska Centennial Model carbines. The box matches serial number of this gun but there is no mention of commemorative on end label as they used a standard Model 1894 carbine box. Features full round barrel, full magazine, two barrel bands, hooded ramp front sight, sporting rear sight, saddle ring, and checkered gold plated shotgun buttplate. Special features include gold hammer, loading gate and rear barrel band. Left side of frame is stamped "NEBRASKA CENTENNIAL 1867 - 1967". Very heard to find early commemorative carbine in as new condition inside and out with matching box and paperwork. Name Value Manufacturer Winchester Model 1894 Serial Number NC1116 Caliber .30-30 Winchester Barrel Length 20" FFL Status Curio & Relic
