vol.1-3 (of 5) in 2, engraved titles in vol.1 & 2 in second state (title in vol.1 with volume number altered in ink), title in vol.3 in red and black, all in English and French, engraved dedications in all but vol.3, lists of subscribers, 295 engraved plates on 231 sheets, 49 double-page and 5 quadruple, without the additional plate of Umberslade sometimes found in vol.3, vol.1 & 2 bound together with some browning, a few double-page plates a little cropped or creased at edges, bookplate of Ingestre Hall on front pastedowns, contemporary panelled calf, spines gilt with morocco labels, rubbed, boards of vol.3 lightly stained, spines and corners rather worn, joints split, [Fowler 76; Harris 97 & 99], 1717-25.
