Gardner, 1747. 8° (173 x 105mm.), woodcut ornaments, printer's flowers between chapters (title with hole in blank area and small date stamp on verso, some browning and spotting), library cloth. FIRST EDITION of three printed, the last appearing in 1757. The "Table of Trades" at the end enumerates "the sums given with an apprentice, sums necessary to set up as a master" and "hours of working." Goldsmiths' 8262; Kress 4846.
