NAPLES, 6 DECEMBER 1639 single sheet (680 x 870mm.), written in brown and gold ink, within a large decorative and historiated border framed by a large black and gold double-headed imperial eagle, with foliate and floral decoration incorporating hounds hunting hares, small roundel portraits of St Francis of Assisi, St John the Evangelist, a pope, a king, a Dominican saint with a monstrance, a cardinal, and the Virgin and Child at the head, a few small holes at edges, some gilding slightly rubbed, portrait of John the Evangelist somewhat rubbed
