ILLUMINATED MANUSCRIPT ON VELLUM, Valladolid: 20 June 1639. 2° (300 x 210mm). 47 leaves, 27 lines in black ink within double fillet border, FULL-PAGE FRONTISPIECE OF THE RECIPIENT AND HIS FAMILY VENERATING THE VIRGIN, FULL-PAGE COAT-OF-ARMS, AND 9-LINE PORTRAIT OF THE KING, all in gold and colours, 2 red silk flyleaves, some headings in gold on dark red ground, final leaf endorsed by various dignitaries. (Some leaves slightly soiled, first and last two with small wormholes.) Original Spanish sheep, the covers stamped with gilt ornaments of joined hands, hearts and scrolls with other roll-tools, gilt spine (slightly worn and with small wormholes), red edges
