Lot of 24, including photographic studio advertisements on cartes-de-visite and other photography and advertising related pieces. Some cards feature notable personalities, such as two of actresses for J.B. Barnaby & Co. of Providence, on for Lowell's of Amherst, and one of Governor Hill for W. Duke & Sons chewing and smoking tobacco. One photograph of the USS Olympia, part of a series of war photographs given away with each 5 cent package of Honest Tobacco. CDV of Horace Greeley advertising for agents to sell for Connecticut dealer Water S. Calvert. One of Grant's Tomb for Hastings & Miller photographic materials. One of two boys in military kepis, for CHIX Electric Light Studio. Patriotic bicolor advertising card of F.W. Chase Ambrotype & Photograph Gallery, Providence. Printed A.C. Harlow advertisement for reduction in prices for members of the General Assembly. Also includes a CDV souvenir of U.S. treasury notes, featuring a $100 note, copyright 1866 by R.C.
