A fine and rare silver gilt, black onyx and moonstone Art Deco desk timepiece Signed Cartier, made in France, case nos. 6343, 2466 and 4828, movement signed European Watch & Clock Co., Inc., circa 1930 With nickel-finished lever movement, 15 jewels, bimetallic compensation balance, the engine-turned gilt sunburst decorated dial with Roman numerals on blank chapter ring, in wedge-shaped black onyx case with striped gold and light blue enamel decorated bezel, the edges enhanced by four gold-mounted cabochon moonstones, a pen-rest to the bottom, the winder in the gilt-metal back, case with hand-stamped Cartier reference numbers, dial signed, movement signed E.W.&Co.
