Buon esemplare, lievi bruniture, gore marginali alle prime carte. Bella legatura coeva in vitello su piatti in legno, decorata a secco. Al piatto anteriore specchio centrale quadripartito con ritratto di quattro martiri, tra i quali sono riconoscibili san Nicola di Myra e santa Grata. Al piatto posteriore santa Barbara con una torre a tre finestre alle sue spalle. Dorso a tre nervi restaurato, due piccole mancanze ai piatti. Annotazioni manoscritte alla c. m4v. Bella edizione del testo fondante la vita cenobitica e delle istituzioni monastiche, opera di san Giovanni Cassiano (360-435). On the front cover central part divided into four parts with portrait of the four martyrs, among which are recognizable San Nicola di Myra and Santa Grata. On the past cover Santa Barbara with a three-windows tower behind her back. Restored spine with three raised bands, two losses on the covers. Ink notes on fol. m4v. Beautiful edition of the founding text of the Cenobitic life and monastic institutions, work by San Giovanni Cassiano (360-435). The volume is presented in a beautiful contemporary binding, blind-tooled and depicting the images of the martyrs.
