Ratelband [and others], 1726. 2 volumes in one, 2° (402 x 242mm), 2 engraved allegorical frontispieces incorporating a portrait of Cats, another portrait of Cats, 3 double-page plates and approximately 430 engravings in the text, some full-page, titles in red and black, half title (occasional very unimportant spotting), contemporary sprinkled calf, gilt spine. A late, but good, edition of Cats' Works. More than half of the illustrations are emblematic and there are many amusing engravings: a game of badminton, a dentist drawing teeth, &c.
