CECCHINI, G.B., G.PIVIDOR and others. Vedute dei principali monumenti di Venezia. Venice: Eugenio Testolini, [circa 1860]. Oblong 2° (297 x 413mm). Lithographed throughout. Hand-coloured title and 12 plates, heightened with gum-arabic, by Lefevre after Cecchini, Pividor and Viola, extra-illustrated with two hand-coloured lithographic 'portraits' of male and female watercarriers, and a smaller format hand-coloured lithographic view of Venice, all three published by Testolini. (Occasional light spotting.) Original purple cloth, titled in gilt on upper cover. Provenance : Georges Delaporte (bookplate). A fine series of high-quality tourist views. Luigi ZUCOLI (publisher). Views of Milan, Padua and Rome. Milan: Zucoli, [circa 1830]. Oblong 2° (300 x 440mm). Without title or text. 7 fine hand-coloured aquatint plates by A. Biasioli, D. Landini, and Angeli after Duvelli, Citterio and others. (Light marginal spotting to the second plate.) Contemporary dark-brown half morocco gilt, label on upper cover (neat repairs to head and foot of spine). Provenance : La Rochefoucauld family (armorial bookplate); J.Roucy (ownership stamps). The attractive views include five of Milan, one of Padua, and one of the Colosseum in Rome. (2)
