Not the huge mouthful of the 1989 but, as usual with Lafite, long on the finish. In 2009, deeper aromatics on the nose than in the 1989. Glorious beauty and silkiness. Less emphatic end to it than 1989, denoting the bigger harvest. Coffee liqueur finish. SS.
