Two years later, at the MW tasting of '95's: deep and richly coloured, sweaty tannins and considerable depth; sweet, good fruit, soft mid-palate, distinctly tannic.Tasted blind, one of my top marks in a flight of first growth '95's, the Lafite was still youthful looking; deep, classic, rich,opening up well; sweet, good extract and fruit, the tannin and acidity more integrated.
