Lying in Twickenham, Middlesex (EHD) Château Pétrus--Vintage 1983 Pomerol, cru exceptionnel Slightly damaged capsule. Slightly creased label. Level into neck Tasting Note: First noted at Frederick's Pétrus extravaganza in 1986: an intense ruby magnum, almost jam-like sweetness and richness though still hard on the palate.Most recently an impressive double magnum with crisp and agreeable fruit on nose and palate, good texture but very dry finish.
