Chinese Bronze Archaic Pouring Vessel Probably late Shang Dynasty The rounded body raised on three cylindrical legs, cast below the rim with squared scrolling to either side of two taotie masks centered by a flange and interrupted by a loop handle and straight spout, conforming domed lid with loop handle. Height 7 inches. C The Mechlin Moore Collection
One leg broken off, it is with piece but not reattached. Another leg with foot missing. Overall encrustation. Rim has scattered shallow chips.
