Chinese Bronze Censer; Together with a Chinese Gilt-Bronze Vase 18th Century Of squared form, raised on four pad legs base with Xuande six-character mark; Together with a Chinese Gilt-Bronze Vase. Worked in relief with a band of squirrels scampering amongst grape clusters and scrolling vines, the body flanked by two mock butterfly and ring handles, all above an inverted leaf tip border. Height of vase 3 3/4 inches. C
Small Censer-Overall average surface wear. One handle is slightly bent inwards towards rim and has a very small surface crack where handle bends upward on exterior, this may have happened during firing. Small dents to surface of rim. Weight approximately 4 oz. Vase- Overall surface scratches and wear to gilding. Rim and foot with expected small scratches and wear. No dents. Weight approximately 8 oz.
