The poster is divided into 6 vignettes, the upper vignette showing Chinese and American planes shooting down Japanese aircraft, the lower with American Sherman tanks with Chinese support illustrating the Victory of the Burma-Yunnan Campaign, with the middle images showing the explosion of the Japanese Battleship Mutsu in June 1943, the dropping of the atomic bomb on Nagasaki August 1945, and US troops running over Japanese positions on the Yunnan border. Lightly stained, pin holes in upper corners, one small tear into blank margin. A rare Chinese Nationalist poster commemorating the military actions which led to the end of World War II. The poster surprisingly extolls the close association of the US and Nationalist forces in their victories over the Japanese, and includes a rare image of the second atomic bomb being dropped on Nagasaki.
