Golding's collection of letters, photographs and other memorabilia, including: letters by Churchill (typed letter signed, Chartwell, 19 September 1947, a reference, 'I can commend his intelligence and efficiency', ½ page, 4to ), Harold Macmillan (30 October 1946, on Golding's departure from Scotland Yard), Clementine Churchill (Christmas card), Eleanor Roosevelt (to Churchill), and other material comprising a typed verse sung at Harrow in honour of Churchill's visit (1946 or 1947), 44 photographs (the majority recording Churchill's visit to Holland, 8-13 May 1946 with related printed material), 42 stamped envelopes, 34 of which addressed to Churchill (1946-7) from 7 countries, and 9 newspapers (1826, 1926 and 1965, on Churchill's death).
