Early signs of cold war tension appeared when the British and Americans chose not to reveal their atomic secret (and Stalin chose not to reveal that he had been spying on the Manhattan Project all along). Over the course of the conference the three powers came to final agreements about the division of Germany and the timetable for Russia's entry into the Pacific War.
