Circa 1934-1924 B.C. Both bearing a dedication to 'Lipit-Ishtar', the fifth king of the Dynasty of Isin, 4½in. (11.5cm.) high, both accompanied by a full translation, both chipped; seven Near Eastern stone seals, including two Akkadian red limestone cylinder seals both carved with figures, circa 2300 B.C., 24mm. largest, possibly re-cut, labels attached; a black srone Jemdet Nasr cylinder seal, circa 2900 B.C., 15mm., a label attached; an Old Babylonian black stone cylinder seal, 2nd Millennium B.C., 9mm., chipped, set in a modern gold ring, a label attached; a large Sasanian chalcedony stamp seal carved with a facing eagle with its head in profile, pierced, 11/8in. (28cm.), and two Sasanian oval carnelian intaglios, one with a winged figure, 14mm., the other with a peacock, 10mm., circa 4th-6th Centuries A.D., and a miscellaneous collection of ancient and modern coins and various other items, some Not Ancient (a lot)
