37 booklets and pamphlets, 65 buttons, 3 prints and 8 Civil War documents. Reproductions of Civil War prints issued for the centennial in 1961. Two prints, each on 9.25 x 14.5 in. sheets. One shows Confederate commanders, including Jefferson Davis, the other Union commanders with Lincoln front and center. 8 documents related to the 102 Ills. Vols. including provision returns, camp and garrison equipage issues, a fuel request, requests for personnel to guard QM stores, etc. Signed by Lieut. & QM Francis H. Ruger. The 102nd was mustered out on 6 June 1865. Ruger died of disease on 28 June 1865. 8 x 10 b-&-w photo of a drawing of a unit sleeping in the open, arms stacked along a line, the unit flag propped across two stands of rifles.
