Lot of 7 stereoviews from Alexander Gardner's Photographic Incidents of the War series, titled on the verso labels: No. 471 / Front View of Old Frame House, Orchard, and Well, at Seven Pines, Over 400 were buried here after the battle of Fair Oaks. In the distance, Sickles' Brigade, in line of Battle.; No. 473 / Fort Richardson, at Quarles House, near Fair Oaks Station.; No. 582 / Newcomer's Mill, Near Antietam.; No. 753 / Chesterfield Bridge on North Anna with Cavalry Crossing. Rifle Pit in the Foreground, Enemies' Works in the Distance.; No. 757 / Quarles' Mill on North Anna, Where a Portion of the 5th Corps Crossed under Gen. Warren, 23d May, 1864., which is hand tinted in four colors; No. 767 / Pontoon Bridges at Hanovertown Ferry in the Pamunky, Constructed by the 50th N.Y.V. Engineers, May 28, 1864.; and No. 780 / Ruins at Charles City Court House, Va., 13th June, 1864.
