FIRST EDITION, FIRST PRINTING, OF THE AUTHOR'S FIRST BOOK, which catapulted him to literary celebrity; inserted leaf of advertisements at front. BAL 3310; Zamorano 80, no. 17: "Perhaps no short sketch of Twain's so quickly won wide popularity as did 'The Jumping Frog.'"
