Clark out of the "War Loan Fund...being the amount allowed him by the Board of Examiners, for Military service, in defending the Eastern Frontier against the attacks of the Indians, as Private." (Stained). Vallejo, California, July 25, 1851. * Check of Adams & Co., Bankers, San Francisco, for f$5. Sept. 19, 1853. * Check of James King of William, San Francisco, unused. 185_. * Exchange note of Drexcel, Sather & Church, Bankers, San Francisco, for $200.
