42 volumes. All approximately 10.5x7 cm (4x2½") in the original boards and pictorial jackets. The first 42 volumes from the press of Raymond Foye and Francesco Clemente Hanuman was the favorite Hindu deity of both men. The format of the books is based on Indian prayer books, they were hand-made in India. The series includes many iconic works by major figures of the Beat and counterculture movements, including Ginsberg, Corso, Richard Hell, Bob Dylan Herbert Huncke and many others. Included as well is a 1987 booklet promoting the early titles.
