COLOR PLATE] CRAIG, WILLIAM MARSHALL Description of the Plates Representing the Itinerant Traders of London in their Ordinary Costume . [London: 1804]. Full brown calf. 10 3/8 (26 cm); 16 leaves of hand-colored plates of cries (all but the last with two cries to a leaf. for a total of 31, as called for), each leaf with two accompanying text leaves describing the trades depicted. The plates are unnumbered and unsigned; the text has a watermark of 1803, but the plates 1816. This copy has a colored frontispiece of King William Street, almost certainly inserted. Light binding wear; Together with IRELAND, SAMUEL. Picturesque Views on the River Wye... London: R. Faulder, 1797. First edition. Full burgundy morocco gilt. 9 inches (23 cm); xii, 159 pp., with map, portrait and 30 hand-colored sepia aquatint landscape plates.
