Berlin-Lichterfelde A 20 inch (50.8cm.) diameter terrestrial library globe made up of twelve colour printed paper gores, the equatorial graduated in degrees, no ecliptic, the oceans showing trade winds, ocean currents, steamship routes, telegraph lines, the continents with some nation states outlined in green or yellow, showing rivers, mountains, towns, cities, railway lines, caravan routes and other details, the South Pole marked with numerous information reagrding explorers and dates, ( old repaired crack to equator, old surface discolourations and abrasions, new varnish ), with engraved brass meridian half circle, raised on a tall ebonised turned and barley-twist column and plinth base 67 inch (171.5cm.) high
